June 28, Ukraine celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Constitution, the main normative legal act of the state, which establishes the foundations of the social system, state structure, principles of organization and activity of state bodies, rights and obligations of citizens.

The adoption of the Basic Law by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 28, 1996 was an important milestone in the creation of the Ukrainian state.
