Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia, Maksym Kononenko, met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Estonia, Riina Sikkut.

During the meeting, Ambassador M. Kononenko expressed his gratitude for Estonia's support of Ukraine, particularly for the donation of medical equipment to the National Specialized Children's Hospital «OHMATDYT» and the provision of humanitarian aid.

The parties discussed the participation of an Estonian representative in the European Regional School Nutrition Summit, the signing of the Technical Agreement between the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, as well as the possibilities for the recuperation and treatment of Ukrainian children in Estonia. The Ambassador also handed over to the Minister a list of humanitarian needs at the request of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The Estonian side expressed its unwavering support for Ukraine in its fight against the russian aggressor. The Estonian side also assured that it would consider its participation in the mentioned initiatives and events, as well as explore the possibility of providing assistance at the request of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
