On 19 March, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Volodymyr Boiechko met at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia with a delegation of the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, led by Director Ihor Ostash, as well as Ukrainian students currently studying at the Estonian School of Diplomacy.
The meeting was also attended by Ekke Nõmm, Director of the Estonian School of Diplomacy, and Erko Litvyakov, Representative of the Public Relations and Communications Department of ESTDEV.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Ukraine briefed participants on the current state and future prospects of Ukrainian-Estonian relations, highlighting cooperation in the political, economic, security, and digital domains. He also underscored the importance of further strengthening the partnership between Ukraine and Estonia in countering Russian aggression.
The Ambassador also shared practical insights from his diplomatic work in Estonia, including aspects of engagement with state institutions and civil society.
During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on possible areas for further cooperation, including the development of joint projects in the field of cultural diplomacy with the participation of the Embassy, as well as prospects for introducing the study of the Estonian language at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating a shared interest in deepening cooperation and developing professional and academic ties.
