On 4 November 2025, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Volodymyr Boiechko held a meeting with Erika Ellamaa-Ots, Director of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.

The meeting focused on the outcomes and implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, to Ukraine on 27 October 2025, which became an important step towards further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

The Estonian side expressed gratitude for the high level of organisation of the visit and the substantive meetings held by Minister Tsahkna in Kyiv, as well as noted the open and constructive nature of the discussions at all levels.

Volodymyr Boiechko and Erika Ellamaa-Ots underlined the importance of maintaining the strong dynamics of political dialogue between Kyiv and Tallinn. In this context, the parties exchanged views on upcoming bilateral contacts, the participation of the Estonian side in key international events to be held in Kyiv, as well as the coordination of positions within international organisations.

The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed gratitude for Estonia’s unwavering support in countering Russian aggression, noting the significant contribution of the Estonian side to providing defence and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

Special attention was paid to the further expansion of Estonia’s defence assistance to Ukraine, cooperation within the PURL initiative and the SAFE mechanism, as well as to practical aspects of Ukraine’s integration into the European Union.

The parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to the continued development of Ukrainian-Estonian relations based on common values, trust, and mutual support in addressing shared challenges.
