On March 21, 2022 Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk addressed the Riigikogu.

The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament thanked the Estonian Parliament for taking a decision calling on UN member states to take urgent measures to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

During his speech, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that "the decision on Ukraine's membership in the EU will erase Putin's dreams of restoring the Soviet Union."

Ruslan Stefanchuk also called on Western countries to tighten sanctions against Russia and impose an embargo on Russian energy carriers.
