Please accept our warmest congratulations on the Independence Day of the Republic of Estonia!

On this day, we stand with you in honoring all Estonians who have fought for the freedom, statehood, and independence of their country.

On this very day three years ago, Russia launched its unprovoked aggression against Ukraine. From the very first days of Russia’s full-scale war, Estonia has been providing comprehensive defense, economic, and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. Today, Estonia stands among the leaders in the post-war reconstruction of our country, particularly in the Zhytomyr region, which has suffered greatly from the war.

We are deeply grateful for the kindness and sincerity with which the Estonian people have warmly welcomed tens of thousands of temporarily displaced Ukrainians. We highly appreciate the friendly support of every Estonian during this challenging time for our country.

We wish all Estonians peace, harmony, and prosperity.

It is absolutely clear that through our joint efforts, we have already prevented the aggressor from changing the course of history - for the Ukrainian people, our region, and all of Europe - steadfastly defending the right to freedom and independence.

We believe in Victory and call on our partners to stand united in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
