Ambassador Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Permanent Secretary of the Estonian Defense Ministry Kusti Salm, during which Ambassador briefed the Estonian side on the security situation in the context of the increased concentration of Russian troops and equipment on the border with Ukraine. Ambassador also informed the Estonian side about the steps taken by Ukraine together with its Western partners to ensure de-escalation of the situation and cessation of aggression by Russia. 

The Estonian side reaffirmed Ukraine's continued support in tackling Russian aggression, and stressed the need to continue providing practical assistance to our country.
