On October 3 Ambassador Mariana Betsa met with Minister of the Interior of Estonia Lauri Lääenemets. 

During the meeting the issues of temporarily displaced Ukrainian citizens in Estonia and the situation on the russia-Estonia border were discussed, in particular, blocking the passage of Ukrainian citizens to Estonia by Russia.

The Minister reassured that Estonia would continue to allow entry into Estonia of temporarily displaced Ukrainian citizens and all those entitled to temporary protection.

The Ambassador thanked the Minister for the unprecedented assistance of the Government of Estonia to temporarily displaced Ukrainian citizens.
