On April 14, 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia Mariana Betsa met with members of the Riigikogu National Defence Committee.

The Ambassador informed the Riigikogu deputies about the current situation in Ukraine in the context of russian military aggression.

During the meeting, the Ambassador thanked the deputies for the continued support of the Republic of Estonia in the fight against russian aggression and the humanitarian and military assistance provided by Estonia. The Ambassador of Ukraine stressed the need to further increase international pressure on russia and imposing another package of sanctions, as well as increase defence assistance to Ukraine to counter russian aggression.
