On 8 April 2025, representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia took part in the official opening of the European Investment Bank Group office in the Republic of Estonia, which was held in Tallinn.

The event programme included participant registration, the official opening ceremony, speeches by Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Thomas Östros and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Estonia Jürgen Ligi, the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, and a cocktail reception.

The EIB Group is an important financial partner of Ukraine, actively supporting the implementation of infrastructure, energy, and innovation projects, as well as promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The Embassy of Ukraine welcomes the opening of the EIB Group office in Tallinn as a significant step in strengthening trilateral cooperation between Ukraine, the European Investment Bank, and the Republic of Estonia.
