The training course «Common & Shared Security Challenges in Europe from the Black Sea Region Perspective» has started in Tallinn

The training course «Common & Shared Security Challenges in Europe from the Black Sea Region Perspective» has started in Tallinn, Estonia. Training course for diplomats of the Eastern Partnership countries and the Black Sea region organized by the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine in partnership with the Estonian School of Diplomacy and the Swedish Institute.
The training program includes a discussion of security issues and challenges that have arisen in front of Europe and the Black Sea region as a result of Russia's full-scale military aggression against Ukraine.
The event began with a solemn reception at the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia, with the participation of Mariana Betsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Estonia, who mentioned that:
"This initiative is extremely important for Ukraine and I am grateful to everyone who participates in it. Ukraine, with the support of partners, will definitely win, we have no other choice, and we will raise a glass in Kyiv for our victory."
Ekke Nomm, director of ESD: "I want to emphasize that this project was started in partnership with the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine back in 2021. At that time, we could not imagine how much things may change. But for now, this project is even more important."
Hennadii Nadolenko, director of DAU: "This event was planned to be held in Kyiv, but because of the war, we were offered to hold it here in Tallinn. I am grateful to our Estonian partners for this. Estonia is not so big country, but with a very big heart, and that is extremely valuable to us."
Participants from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine are taking part in the training.
