From 9 to 15 May 2025, Tallinn will host the Ukrainian Art Festival - a major cultural event initiated by the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia and organized in cooperation with esteemed partners: the Ministry of Culture of Estonia, the Tallinn City Government, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, the Kadriorg Art Museum, and prominent private galleries including ArtDepoo, Tiiu Truus Gallery, Fotografiska, Temnikova & Kasela Gallery, and the Juhan Kuus Dokfoto Centre.
The Festival is also supported by our main Ukrainian partner, the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation (Lviv) within the program "We and the World".
This is the first festival in Estonia entirely dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian art - offering audiences a glimpse of a Ukraine they have not seen before. A Ukraine of strength, dignity, and creativity. A nation whose very existence amidst a full-scale war stands as a symbol of victory.
For over three years, Ukraine has been bravely resisting brutal Russian aggression. And for over three years, the world has been witnessing daily images of war - photographs and videos that should have no place in the 21st century.
UKUfest 2025 is more than just an art event. It is an act of solidarity - a cultural and diplomatic statement that proves: creativity is resistance, art is freedom, and culture always prevails.
More detailed information about the festival program is available on the official website:
