Ensuring the educational needs of children of temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine is a priority of the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Estonia.
On March 23, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Mariana Betsa met with Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Estonia Liina Kersna.
During the meeting, they discussed the organization of the educational process for children of temporarily displaced persons who found refuge in Estonia, fleeing Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, as well as the employment of Ukrainian teachers in Estonia.
Mariana Betsa reiterated the importance of opening a Ukrainian school in Estonia.
The Ambassador of Ukraine thanked the Estonian side for its comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, including the provision of educational needs of Ukrainian children.
