In the framework of the official visit to Estonia Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Mr.Leonid Kozhara had a meeting with the Prime-minister of the Republic of Estonia Mr.Andrus Ansip.
During the meeting the actual issues of the bilateral cooperation, including the energy and transport sectors, new approaches to the problems of the energy security of two countries, creation of the conditions for the formation of the business climate, mutual investments and effective use of transit potential of the two countries were discussed.
Positive trends in the trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as important role of the joint Intergovernmental commission on the economic, industrial and scientific and technical cooperation, which will have its third meeting at the beginning of December 2013 in Tallinn, were noted.
The parties paid special attention to the issue of the European integration of Ukraine. The Prime-minister of the Republic of Estonia spoke in favor of the need of the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU during the Vilnius “Eastern partnership” Summit in November of 2013 and confirmed the readiness of the Estonian side to provide the necessary support and assistance to Ukraine.
