14 September 2012 at the premises of the “RadissonBlueOlumpia” Hotel in Tallinn a reception was held on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine.

The reception was attended by the former president of Estonia A.Ruitel with his spouse, representatives of the Offices of the President and Prime-Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, heads of the diplomatic missions, accredited to Estonia, representatives of the local business circles, heads of all Ukrainian organisations in Estonia, mayors of Estonian towns etc.

Ambassador of Ukraine in Estonia Viktor Kryzhanivsky addressed the guests of the reception with welcoming speech, in which he acquainted them with achievements of Ukraine during 21 years of Independence. At the reception the Head of the Centre of the Ukrainian culture of Tallinn Mr.Anatoliy Lutyuk was awarded with the Letter of honours of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine.

Guests of the reception had an opportunity to watch videos about Ukrainian cities and different interesting tourist places of Ukraine, as well as to listen to the songs, sang by the band "Zhurba".
