On 17 February 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Volodymyr Boiechko held a meeting with Mait Palts, Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Head of the Estonian National Defence Promotion Foundation.
Volodymyr Boiechko expressed gratitude for the consistent and practical assistance provided by the Chamber and the Foundation to Ukraine.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to Ukraine’s energy resilience and support for Ukrainian businesses.
Given the difficult situation in Ukraine’s energy sector caused by deliberate large-scale Russian attacks on critical energy infrastructure, the Ambassador appealed for the transfer to Ukraine of generators, charging stations, and other energy equipment.
Mait Palts reaffirmed solidarity with Ukraine and informed about the assistance provided by the Chamber and the Foundation to communities in Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and other regions, as well as to military units.
The parties discussed further areas of Ukrainian-Estonian economic cooperation and opportunities to deepen contacts between the business communities of the two countries. These areas include organizing business missions both to Ukraine and to Estonia, support from the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in arranging Ukrainian national stands at international trade fairs and exhibitions held in Estonia, and other initiatives.
