On 21 October 2025, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia, Mr. Volodymyr Boiechko, met with Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Estonia, Ms. Gitana Skripkaitė.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Lithuanian side for its unwavering and comprehensive support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s full-scale aggression.
In this context, the parties underlined the need for further strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia, particularly in the energy sector.
Volodymyr Boiechko informed about the consequences of the recent missile and drone attacks on Ukraine’s civilian and critical infrastructure, as well as the readiness of the Ukrainian side to share its experience in countering aerial threats.
Special attention was paid to the international efforts aimed at achieving a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of international law.
During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of political dialogue and practical cooperation between the two countries in key areas.
The sides emphasized the importance of unity among EU and NATO member states in supporting Ukraine, particularly in ensuring its defense needs and energy resilience.
Gitana Skripkaitė reaffirmed Lithuania’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration path.
She also underlined that the Lublin Triangle format remains an important platform for regional cooperation.
