On 15 November 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia Volodymyr Boiechko took part in a solemn event marking the 100th anniversary of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event was attended by President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis, the leadership of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, officials of the Government and the Riigikogu (Parliament), representatives of the city of Tallinn, as well as leading Estonian companies.

During the event, a charity auction was held. In particular, instead of flowers and gifts, guests had an opportunity to make donations in support of Ukraine through the Foundation for the Promotion of National Defence (Riigikaitse Edendamise Sihtasutus).

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia highly values the fact that the Foundation for the Promotion of National Defence, headed by the Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr Mait Palts, together with the Estonian business community, has been providing Ukraine with substantial humanitarian and other practical assistance since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression. Thanks to donors’ contributions, the Foundation finances the procurement and delivery of drones, medical equipment, medicines, tactical first-aid kits and other essential supplies, and also supports the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainians.
