On 20 November 2025, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Mr Volodymyr Boiechko met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia for Economic and Development Affairs Ms Mariin Ratnik.
Volodymyr Boiechko expressed gratitude to the Estonian side for its comprehensive support for Ukraine aimed at countering Russia’s armed aggression against our state. He informed about the latest massive missile and drone attack, as a result of which 26 civilians, including three children, were killed in the city of Ternopil.
In this context, the parties underlined the importance of strengthening sanctions and tariff pressure on the aggressor state.
The Ambassador also noted Estonia’s significant contribution to the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, in particular of Zhytomyr region.
The parties exchanged views on their cooperation in the context of preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2027), to be held in Estonia in 2027.
Mariin Ratnik confirmed the readiness of the Estonian side to share its experience with Ukraine regarding accession to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
