Today, on November 19, an event dedicated to the 1000th day since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine took place at Freedom Square in Tallinn.
The event was organized by the Estonian Refugee Council (ERC).
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia, Maksym Kononenko, Director of Estonian Refugee Council Eero Janson, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and the Ukrainian community.
The Ambassador of Ukraine, in his speech, stated: “Ukrainians in Ukraine have not grown tired of fighting, because one cannot grow tired of defending their own freedom and dignity, the independence of their state, the past of their parents, and the future of their children.
It is crucial for us that our allies and partners around the world, NATO and the EU, and our friendly Estonia do not grow weary of helping Ukraine in this noble struggle.
