Ambassador Mariana Betsa met with First Deputy Speaker of the Riigikogu Helir-Valdor Seeder.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mariana Betsa informed First Deputy Speaker of the Riigikogu Helir-Valdor Seeder about the current situation in Ukraine in the context of russia's ongoing war against our country. The parties discussed security issues, strengthening support for Ukraine from the EU and NATO, in particular in the context of accelerating Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the agenda of Ukraine-Estonia interparliamentary cooperation. The Ambassador thanked Estonia for the humanitarian and military assistance provided to Ukraine, particularly in the context of the post-war recovery of Zhytomyr oblast. The Ambassador also expressed gratitude for the recent visit of Helir-Valdor Seeder to Ukraine.
