Ambassador Mariana Betsa met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mariana Betsa informed the Minister about the current situation in Ukraine in the context of russia's ongoing war against our country and russia's latest terrorist actions aimed at destroying critical energy infrastructure. The parties discussed security issues, in particular, the continuation of military aid, as well as the provision of assistance in the protection and restoration of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine destroyed by russia. The Ambassador also raised the issue of strengthening support for Ukraine from the EU and NATO, in particular in the context of accelerating Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The Ambassador thanked Estonia for the humanitarian and military assistance provided to Ukraine, as well as for the assistance in the post-war recovery of our state.
