Ambassador Mariana Betsa met with the Chairman of the Riigikogu Foreign Affairs Committee Andres Sutt.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mariana Betsa informed the interlocutor with the current situation in Ukraine in the context of russia's ongoing war against our country. The parties discussed the issue of defense aid, the restoration of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as the issue of strengthening sanctions against the russian federation for crimes committed against Ukraine and holding it to international responsibility.

Mariana Betsa emphasized the importance of further support of Ukraine from the EU and NATO, particularly in the context of accelerating Ukraine's European integration.

The Ambassador thanked Estonia for the humanitarian and military assistance provided to Ukraine.
