On July 18, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia Maksym Kononenko met with the Head of the Estonian Office of the International Organization for Migration Marian Benbow Pfisterer.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed cooperation on providing assistance in Estonia to temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine.

Marian Benbow Pfisterer emphasized that the International Organization for Migration will continue to provide assistance to citizens of Ukraine who were forced to seek asylum in Estonia due to the Russian war against Ukraine.

Ambassador Maksym Kononenko thanked the IOM representative for the assistance provided by the organization to the citizens of Ukraine, and expressed hope for continued close cooperation to solve the urgent problems of temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine.
