On January 10-11, 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid an official visit to the Republic of Estonia. In the framework of his stay in Tallinn, the Head of State met President of Estonia Alar Karis, Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas, visited the Riigikogu of Estonia, where he delivered a speech before members of the Parliament.
During the meetings, the President of Ukraine thanked the leadership of the Estonian state and its people for their consistent and comprehensive support of Ukraine in the fight against full-scale Russian invasion. During the talks, the focus was on further bilateral cooperation in defence sphere, coordination of efforts to preserve the unity of Western partners in providing military assistance to our country, the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, the prospects of Ukraine's accession to the EU and the Alliance, providing security guarantees for Ukraine until joining NATO, bringing Russia to justice and using frozen Russian assets for the needs of recovery of Ukraine.
Summing up his stay in Estonia, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that "it is really very important that Estonia supports us in all elements of defence, in all elements of our Ukrainian resilience, in everything we can and will do to defeat the enemy."
