The State Flag of Ukraine has been lowered at the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia in Tallinn in mourning for the victims of the large-scale Russian attack on 16 April 2026.

On 16 April 2026, Russia launched another large-scale missile and drone attack, including against Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia, damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. According to preliminary reports, at least 17 people were killed, including one child, and over 100 were injured.

In order to honour the memory of the victims, the Embassy has opened an online Book of Condolences for the period from 17 to 21 April. Messages of condolence may be sent to the following address: [email protected].
