Ukraine's Ambassador to Estonia Volodymyr Boiechko met with participants in a training program on environmental and climate change issues who are visiting Tallinn.

The program brought together representatives from the Secretariat of Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada Office, and relevant ministries and central executive bodies working in environment, energy, water and forest resources, geology, and regional development.

They discussed how to further develop Ukrainian-Estonian cooperation in environmental policy, natural resource management, climate transformation, and implementing EU environmental standards.

The Ambassador highlighted Estonia's valuable experience with environmental reforms, renewable energy, and digital solutions – all important for Ukraine as it pursues European integration and plans for post-war reconstruction.

Both sides agreed on the importance of continuing expert dialogue, sharing best practices, and working together on initiatives that strengthen environmental security in both Ukraine and Estonia.
