As part of the fourth meeting of national security and political advisors on the Ukrainian Peace Formula in Davos, the Ukrainian delegation, led by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, met with representatives of a number of European countries on January 14-15, 2024.
At the meeting with Director General of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Marge Mardisalu-Kahar, the parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the context of the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparation for the upcoming Global Peace Summit. The Ukrainian delegation thanked the Estonian side for supporting Ukraine and effectively strengthening our country's defence capabilities during the unprovoked Russian aggression. The Ukrainian delegation also expressed gratitude to Estonia for its leadership in creating an IT coalition in support of Ukraine. The parties discussed the prospects of concluding a bilateral agreement on security commitments before Ukraine joins NATO. Estonia confirmed its readiness to start practical consultations on this issue.
As a result of the event in Davos, Switzerland and Ukraine agreed on a joint Press Communiqué of the co-chairs Switzerland and Ukraine of the 4th Meeting of National Security and Foreign Policy Advisors On Key Principles of Peace for Ukraine.
