On January 14th, the protest action was organized and held by the Congress of Ukrainians in Estonia at Freedom Square (Vabaduse väljak) in Tallinn to support Ukraine in connection with recent extensive missile and drone attacks carried out by Russia.
During these attacks, dozens of people lost their lives and were injured. The aggressor also destroyed buildings, schools, kindergartens, energy infrastructure facilities and other civilian objects.
The participants of the protest action condemned Russian aggression and called on international organizations and NATO member countries to stop the aggressor by all possible legal means and to hold Russian criminals accountable. Additionally, Ukrainians shared their own stories as well as stories of their acquaintances and friends who experienced these events while in Ukraine during the full-scale invasion by Russia.
A moment of silence was observed to honor the memory of all those who perished in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The event concluded with the singing of the national folk anthem «Ой у лузі червона калина».
