On April 8, Ambassador of Ukraine Mariana Betsa met with Minister of Culture of the Republic of Estonia Tiit Terik.
The Ambassador informed the Minister about the situation in Ukraine in the context of russian military aggression. In particular, the Ambassador informed the Minister about the crimes of genocide and war crimes committed by russia in Bucha, Irpin, Mariupol, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk and other cities and villages of Ukraine.
The Ambassador thanked the Minister for Estonia's support to Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression and for its readiness to help meet the cultural needs of Ukrainians who have found temporary refuge in Estonia.
Mariana Betsa also thanked the Estonian side for the termination of cooperation in the cultural, educational and sports spheres with russia and belarus.
