Ambassador of Ukraine Mariana Betsa met with Minister of the Interior of Estonia Kristian Jaani.

The Ambassador informed the Minister about the situation in Ukraine in the context of russian military aggression. In particular, the Ambassador of Ukraine informed the Minister about the crimes of genocide and war crimes committed by russia in Bucha, Irpen, Mariupol, Kharkiv.

During the meeting, procedural issues of providing temporary protection, as well as practical assistance to temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine were also discussed.

The Ambassador especially thanked the Minister for supporting Ukraine and providing assistance, including military for National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
