On 16 October, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia, Volodymyr Boiechko, met with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu, Marko Mihkelson.

During the meeting, the Ambassador presented him with a letter of appreciation from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, in recognition of his personal contribution to strengthening Ukraine and providing assistance to our country amid Russia’s ongoing war.

The two sides discussed the current security situation and the challenges facing Ukraine ahead of winter.

In this context, Volodymyr Boiechko and Marko Mihkelson exchanged views on the broader security situation in Europe, the importance of maintaining unity within the Euro-Atlantic community, and further consolidating international support for Ukraine to counter Russian aggression and secure a just and lasting peace.
