On 16 October, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia, Volodymyr Boiechko, met with  Minister of Social Affairs of Estonia, Karmen Joller.

The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the close and friendly partnership between the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia and its Ukrainian counterparts, as well as for Karmen Joller’s personal contribution to supporting Ukraine.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed preparations for the upcoming visit to Estonia by Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, Denys Uliutin, and emphasised the importance of signing the Agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Estonia in the field of social security.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2027), as well as opportunities to expand cooperation under the MEDEVAC medical evacuation programme to provide treatment for Ukrainians affected by Russia’s aggression.

Karmen Joller reaffirmed Estonia’s unwavering support for Ukraine and its readiness to further strengthen cooperation.
