On December 2, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia, Maksym Kononenko, held a meeting with the team of the project "Women Support Women. Estonia & Ukraine."

Participating in the meeting were: Yelyzaveta Puzyrevska (Head of MTÜ Divergent Woman), Merle Saviauk (President of EENA), Ester Eomois (Project Leader, Member of EENA), Signe Vesso (Methodology Specialist, Member of EENA), Jelena Žovnikova (Assistant in Project Implementation), and Inna Karaulshchikova (Head of MTÜ LELEKA).

The purpose of the meeting was to present the project "Women Support Women. Estonia & Ukraine", aimed at supporting Ukrainian women (displaced due to Russia's invasion and currently residing in Estonia), to summarize achievements from the past year, and to discuss plans for the future.

The project program includes three main areas:

Coaching program to achieve set goals: Formation of development groups (up to 10 participants each), which will include Estonian women from EENA (Estonian Women Entrepreneurs' Club). Participants will share their experiences in starting a business or advancing their careers.

Webinars and events on entrepreneurship, mental health, planning, and motivation.

"Conversation Café": Learning and practicing Estonian in development groups. Cultural exchange through organizing workshops and attending events hosted by Ukrainian and Estonian organizations.

The project is funded by the Coca-Cola Foundation and the Estonian Women’s Association (EENA) in collaboration with the Ukrainian women’s organization Divergent Women.

The initiative aims to engage 300 Estonian and Ukrainian women. As part of the project, seminars, webinars, and coaching sessions are being held in Tallinn, Tartu, and Narva.

The Ambassador highly appreciated the efforts of the organizers in supporting Ukrainian women and facilitating their adaptation to new circumstances, emphasizing that such projects are a vital tool for strengthening cultural exchange and global solidarity.
