Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Maksym Kononenko met with First Vice-President of the Riigikog of Estonia Toomas Kivimägi.

During the meeting, priority issues were the further development of Ukrainian-Estonian interparliamentary cooperation and support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. Ambassador Maksym Kononenko informed the First Vice-President about the situation in Ukraine in the context of Russia’s ongoing war against our state. The parties noted the intensive interparliamentary dialogue between the Riigikogu of the Republic of Estonia and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Ambassador Maksym Kononenko expressed gratitude to the Riigikogu of Estonia for its active and leadership role in making important decisions in support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian military aggression, which is an example for the parliaments of other countries.
