07 November 2023 10:30

As part of the improvement of Ukrainian-Estonian economic cooperation, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia Maxim Kononenko received the Ukrainian delegation represented by Lubomir Bashinsky, director of Nordic-Bud LLC, and his team, who arrived on a working visit to Tallinn.

Nordik-Bud is an essential player in the Ukrainian market of design, construction, and installation works in oil and gas production, petrochemicals, and energy.

The purpose of the visit was to find partners to implement essential infrastructure projects in Ukraine.

Ukrainian businessmen met with Igor Berman, Board Member of BLRT Grupp and Elme Messer Gaas, and Vitaly Galitsky, Head of the Strategic Planning Unit of Elme Messer Gaas, Head of the Tallinn Office of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm.

BLRT Grupp is one of the most extensive holdings in the Baltic Sea region, uniting more than 50 diversified companies and specializing in shipbuilding, ship repair, mechanical engineering, energy, etc. Thanks to the openness and willingness to cooperate with the concerned management, an exchange of views took place, the areas of possible cooperation were determined, and priorities were set.

They also discussed the expansion of the business presence of Elme Messer Gaas in Ukraine, namely the creation of new production facilities of Elme Messer Gaas in our territory.

Elme Messer Gaas specializes in the industrial production of oxygen, nitrogen, argon xenon, neon, and krypton, as well as carbon dioxide, acetylene, hydrogen, helium, and medical gases, which are used in many technological processes in the manufacture of everyday products and the medical field, respectively.

The Ukrainian delegation was acquainted with the projects of BLRT Grupp and Elme Messer Gaas, particularly with the district of Tallinn Noblessner, rebuilt at the expense and efforts of BLRT Grupp. For several years, a new, stylish, ultra-modern residential complex with youth and social infrastructure has emerged from the post-Soviet industrial zone. Now, it is one of the most prestigious residential areas of the city. After completing the BLRT project, Grupp plans to transfer it to the city. This approach is an example of social responsibility in Estonia.

According to him, Nordlube OU is ready to provide delivery, sales of fuel, and lubrication in the networks of Ukrainian gas stations for the needs of agriculture, drilling rigs of various natures, complex mechanized machines and equipment used by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side expressed interest in helping to enter the Ukrainian market of fuel and lubricants and also offered its participation in possible projects to deploy a network of gas stations and joint development of wells for a future oil processing plant in Ukraine.
