On 19 January 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia Volodymyr Boiechko held a meeting with Director of the Department for Business Diplomacy and Honorary Consuls at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Mr Arvo Anton.

The parties discussed practical steps to deepen economic cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia, in particular engaging Estonian businesses in Ukraine’s recovery projects, as well as supporting the development of trade and economic contacts and partnerships in the Estonian and EU markets.

Special attention was paid to cooperation in the areas of infrastructure reconstruction and energy resilience, as well as the organization of thematic seminars, meetings, and visits of business delegations.

Ambassador of Ukraine Mr Volodymyr Boiechko briefed on the situation in Ukraine’s energy sector in the wake of Russian attacks on critical infrastructure and thanked Estonia for its comprehensive and consistent support for Ukraine.
