On April 2, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia Maksym Kononenko held a meeting with Founder of the ImpactBuilders Foundation Mr. Jan Lagast.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and the Foundation in various areas, particularly in the fields of sustainable entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and post-war economic recovery.

Ambassador Kononenko expressed his appreciation for the mission and values of the ImpactBuilders Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting conscious entrepreneurship and fostering values-driven leadership within the European business community. He emphasized Ukraine’s commitment to building a modern, resilient, and innovative economy, and welcomed potential initiatives that could contribute to this goal.

In turn, Mr. Lagast expressed interest in strengthening cooperation with Ukrainian partners, notably through the creation of platforms for knowledge exchange, mentorship programs, and support for Ukrainian startups as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

Both parties agreed to maintain an active dialogue and to develop concrete steps to enhance cooperation in the near future.
