On 31 March 2025, the Estonian National Defence Promotion Foundation, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, delivered the twenty-second batch of humanitarian and technical assistance for units of the National Guard of Ukraine. The total value of the equipment amounted to €217,211.
This time, the assistance was primarily focused on technical support equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and battery stations. The shipment was delivered to the Polish-Ukrainian border, from where it was transferred to the regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Dnipro and Chernihiv for further distribution among National Guard units that had submitted corresponding requests.
Representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia took part in the event and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Estonian partners for their consistent and effective support of Ukraine amid the full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation.
Mait Palts, Director of the Estonian National Defence Promotion Foundation, thanked donors and partners for their continued support, emphasizing that the contribution of each of them strengthens Ukraine’s defence capabilities and thereby contributes to safeguarding the future of all Europe. He also stressed that only strength and determination can deter the aggressor, and thus, assistance to Ukraine remains critically important.
The delivered batch included:
• 55 DJI Mavic Pro drones;
• 64 battery stations;
• 50 sleeping bags;
• 300 sleeping pads;
• 4 pallets of medical supplies;
• 2,462 portions of tactical food rations;
• 8 electric generators.
All equipment was procured in Estonia with the support of local businesses or provided by companies and organizations as donations. The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia also contributed to the preparation and logistics of the shipment. The transportation was arranged by United Motors, Veho, and City Motors.
