On the night of 1–2 July 2026, Russia launched another large-scale missile and drone attack against Ukraine. The primary targets were Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region. As a result of this latest act of Russian terror, at least 30 people were killed and more than 90 were injured.
Today, a Day of Mourning has been declared in Kyiv to honour the victims of the Russian attack.
As a sign of solidarity, the State Flag of Ukraine has been lowered to half-mast at the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia. A virtual Book of Condolences has also been opened. Messages of condolence may be sent to the Embassy's official email address: [email protected].
The Embassy extends its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives and wishes a swift recovery to all those injured.
Russia will inevitably be held accountable for every war crime, every act of terror, and every life it has taken.
