On October 11, 2023, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Maksym Kononenko met with the leadership of the Estonia-Ukraine Riigikogu parliamentary group and representatives of the Estonia 200 parliamentary group in the Riigikogu of Estonia.

During the meeting, Ambassador Maksym Kononenko expressed his gratitude to the Riigikogu for the constant active support of Ukraine and the leadership role of Estonian parliamentarians in adopting important decisions to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian military aggression, which is an example for the parliaments of other countries, in particular, the adoption of statements regarding the responsibility of the Russian Federation for a crime aggression against Ukraine and in support of Ukraine's membership in NATO.

Ambassador Maksym Kononenko expressed hope for the continuation of the fruitful Ukrainian-Estonian interparliamentary dialogue as an important component of the parliamentary dimension of international support for Ukraine to defeat the aggressor.
